18. Campo de’ Fiori
Campo dei Fiori (Italian: Campo dei Fiori) is one of the most popular squares in Rome and one of the places you should not miss during your visit to Rome, as it is here you can find one of the most beautiful markets in Rome. Although there are some beautiful historical buildings around the square, the market is the main tourist attraction.
Markets are held here every day of the week and are a great place to discover another side of the city and find the freshest local produce. If you venture into the smaller streets surrounding the square, you’ll also find many small boutiques and handicraft stalls where you’re sure to find some souvenirs to take back from your trip. You can even find some of the most popular shopping streets here, such as Via de Guibbonari, Via de Capellari and Via del Baullari.

19. Rome Zoo
Bioparco di Roma is the main zoo in the center of Rome, Italy, located in the beautiful Villa Borghese park. Founded in 1911, the Bioparco di Roma covers an area of about 17 hectares and is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It is a popular place for family tourists and animal lovers.
The zoo is home to about 1,200 animals from all over the world, covering more than 200 different species. Visitors can see large mammals such as lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, rhinos and elephants, as well as a variety of birds, reptiles and aquatic animals. The Rome Zoo focuses on recreating the natural habitat of animals. The park design imitates the original living environment of the animals, providing them with more natural and comfortable living conditions.
In addition to viewing animals, the Rome Zoo also offers a variety of educational and interactive activities. Visitors can attend lectures and guided tours led by zoo experts to learn more about animal behavior and conservation. Activity areas and interactive exhibitions designed specifically for children make the zoo an excellent place for both education and entertainment.
20. Roman cuisine
Let’s take a closer look at Roman cuisine, as the local food is obviously one of the most worthwhile things to discover in the Italian capital. It would be sacrilege to visit Rome and not take the time to sample the local cuisine!
Trastevere and Piazza dei Fiori are undoubtedly the two places that best represent the gastronomy of Rome, but I would also like to mention the Jewish Ghetto or the Trianfarre Market.
