2) Palma de Mallorca
The largest city in Mallorca is also the place with the most attractions. You can spend a day or two visiting Palma during your stay.
Palma Cathedral. Also known as “La Seu”, this impressive church is one of the city’s landmarks. Visiting here, you can enjoy a great view of the bay.

Almudaina Palace. Located directly opposite the cathedral, it was once the seat of the Kingdom of Mallorca. Before its reconstruction, the fortress was the Castle of Mallorca built during the Muslim occupation. It is still one of the residences of the King of Spain.
The Arab Baths. This is the last intact building from the Muslim period in Palma. With its gardens, doorways and half-moon dome supported by 8 columns, the Arab Baths are the best testimony to the Arab-Muslim rule of Mallorca.
Museum of Modern Art. Also known as “Es Baluard”, this museum houses a large collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the late 19th century to the present day. Here you can admire works by Picasso, Miró, Magritte and Cézanne. This new museum also regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and is fast becoming one of Mallorca’s main cultural attractions.
Bellver Castle. Bellver Castle (Castell de Bellver) is located on a hill 3 km from the historic center of the city. It is a 13th century Gothic building overlooking the entire Bay of Palma. It is one of the most representative buildings in Mallorca.
3) Alcudia
If you want to know what to do in Mallorca, I recommend Alcudia in the northwest of the island. This town is both a place with a long history and a prestigious seaside resort. It is located between the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa and is the oldest city on Mallorca. It was even once the Roman capital of the Balearic Islands, and many of the ruins still bear witness to this history.
Once in Alcudia, you can admire the impressive and well-preserved city walls that still protect certain areas of the old town. In particular, you can visit the archaeological site of Pollentia, located in the heart of the defensive walls. The nearby monographic museum brings together many artifacts found during excavations at the site.
