Don’t take skin problems lightly, start with daily life

As people age, their skin loses elasticity and develops inexplicable small protrusions, such as pimples and polyps… Although most of them are benign, they affect the appearance. Many people deal with them on their own, which often causes inflammation and infection. This article provides the correct treatment method and analyzes the causes and preventive measures to maintain skin health.

Three groups of people are prone to small bumps on their skin

1. Elderly people: Elderly people are prone to various skin problems due to aging skin and decreased immunity.

2. People with weakened immunity: those with metabolic abnormalities or chronic diseases, such as diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, and lung disease. Diabetic patients are more likely to develop skin polyps and keratosis due to poor blood sugar control.

3. People with abnormal living habits: those with high work pressure, unhealthy diet, lack of sleep, smoking, lack of exercise and long-term exposure to air pollution.

Disorganized skin tissue? Four common types and causes

The appearance of disordered skin tissue is related to these factors: age, immune system, skin aging, genetic genes, personal constitution, eating habits, lifestyle habits, ultraviolet rays and frequent friction stimulation of the skin. The following are four common types and their causes:

1. Skin polyps (fibromas or soft fibromas): They are like hanging skin pendants; they often appear in wrinkles and loose areas of the skin such as the neck, armpits, and scrotum. They are mainly related to personal physique, obesity, and a craving for sweets. Studies have shown that obesity-related insulin resistance may promote the formation of skin polyps.

2. Hyperkeratosis: It is mostly flat granulation, the color is skin color, brown or coffee color; it is more common on the neck, mainly due to excessive friction, aging or poor blood circulation of the neck skin. Studies have found that changes in the skin microenvironment can cause hyperkeratosis.

3. Flat warts: Flat and slightly raised in appearance; they can occur on all parts of the body, most commonly on the face, neck and chest. They are mainly caused by viral infections and may spread to other parts of the body or be transmitted to others.
